Originally created as the Maui Symphony Chorus in the 1990's, Maui Choral Arts has continued over the years to bring quality choral music to Maui audiences.
Maui Choral Arts has performed in several venues on Maui, including the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, Kihei Baptist Church, St. Theresa's Church, the Hyatt Regency in Ka'anapali and even toured to our neighbor island of Lana'i.
Currently, this premiere community chorus ranges in size from 50-100 singers, depending on the season (we love our snowbird members!)
The mixed SATB chorus accepts singers of any age- we do encourage younger singers to join us- it's great to expose them to quality choral music early!
Auditions are not required- just a passion for singing and learning. We are trying to create high quality professional performances, so attendance at rehearsals is very important. We also have periodic sectionals led by our section leaders to help you learn your parts. Though the sectionals are not mandatory, they are extremely helpful and attendance is highly encouraged.
Come join us! We have a lot of fun and perform challenging and great choral music from many genres.
