No audition required. We welcome anybody with a love of music and a passion for fun. Reading music is helpful, but not required. We provide many tools to help you succeed. If you’re interested, please fill out this short Google Form and we’ll email you when it’s time to sign up for the Fall 2026 term.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 PM at St. Anthony School in Wailuku. The first rehearsal for the Spring 2026 term is January 6.
Dues are $60 per semester (scholarships are available).

John Rowehl joined MCAA as Artistic Director in August 2021, did a masterful job of conducting our first post-COVID, informal concerts, and is superbly qualified to lead us into the future. John has a wealth of experience in choral direction and program development, and extensive knowledge of the choral music repertoire. He is known and celebrated among colleagues and singers throughout the country for his creativity, his unique ability to attract and select music for singers at all ability levels, and his desire to mentor individuals while encouraging all to grow together artistically. John also is appreciated for his kindness and thoughtfulness, as well as his professionalism. John’s approach is holistic, reflecting his commitment to fostering a joyful experience and sense of community for all.
